The process shown is typical of what might be expected
for a gunite pool.

Gunite pool Demo First, a free written estimate is prepared which covers every aspect of the demolition. The estimate seen here includes permits, soil compaction testing, caping utilities at the house, a total of four drain holes in the bottom of the pool and spa, gravel install in both pool and spa (due to groundwater), demolition of all gunite and concrete decking, backfill with clean soil, and finally, four inches of organic topsoil at owners request.
